Ambulatory Surgery

Our patients come to the office approximately one week prior to their scheduled date of surgery to complete the necessary forms and consents and have the appropriate examinations and laboratory tests performed.  Once everything has been completed and reviewed, the surgery date is confirmed.

On the day of surgery, the patient is accompanied by a friend or family member to drive them home.  The patient is escorted by our staff to the surgical suite.  Depending on the type of procedure to be performed, the patient may be given a mild sedation, which is administered by a qualified anesthesiologist or certified registered nurse anesthetist.  After surgery, the patient is monitored in recovery until it is time to go home.  After recovery, the doctor discusses the case and reviews the postoperative x-rays with the patient.

*Each of our doctors are strong advocates of preventive medicine and gives freely of his time for complete patient education.
